It’s Monday, we achieved a fair bit yesterday despite being completely underwhelmed by the Liverpool/Chelsea result.  Liverpool were superb but Chelsea simply parked an Eddie Stobart in front of their goal and were timewasting from the opening whistle.  Everton also tripped up badly on Saturday against a very good Southampton team.  Not a good weekend for Merseyside.

The loft is now empty and the recycling centre is full… another load ready to go in the car sometime today, 9 bags of books for the charity shop.

Looking at what’s left, it’s just a matter of dumping stuff, passing stuff to friends and schools and then taking the stuff we’re keeping over to store.

Corinne has realised that there’s not actually that much left to do in terms of clearance (apart from the physical labour of course).

We’re hoping to exchange on the house today so should have a completion date and can finally start planning the move.  I’ll believe that when the solicitors finally pull their fingers out of their backsides
